Echo is an AI-powered digital legacy platform. It uses artificial intelligence to simulate a person's personality, voice, and communication style. Echo is NOT a real person. Interactions with Echo are with an AI system.
2. Voice Cloning Consent
By uploading voice samples, you explicitly consent to your voice being analyzed, cloned, and used by Echo AI after your passing.
3. Data Privacy
Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). Stored on secure AWS servers. No Echo staff can read your personal data or conversations.
4. Mental Health Disclaimer
Echo is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you or a family member are experiencing grief, distress, or mental health challenges, please seek professional help.
5. Liability
ECHO is not liable for emotional distress or misuse. AI responses may be inaccurate or inconsistent with the actual views of the simulated person.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.

When you or a family member interacts with Echo, you are interacting with an AI that has been trained on information provided by the account holder. Echo's responses are generated by AI and may not accurately reflect the actual views, beliefs, or words of the person being simulated.
🔒 Your Data & Encryption
All your personal data, portrait information, answers, and conversations are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS. Your data is stored on secure AWS servers through Supabase. No Echo staff member can read your personal data, conversations, or uploaded files. Voice data is encrypted and only used to generate speech through the Echo AI system.

By uploading voice samples, you explicitly consent to your voice being analyzed, cloned, and used by the Echo AI system to generate speech. This consent was given upon account creation. Voice cloning is performed through ElevenLabs, a trusted third-party service.
